A couple of shots from Ding Darling in April. I think the one is a Reddish Egret but if I am incorrect let me know. These were some of the first shots I took with a new lens/body combination. I had taken images of birds before but not with a long lens. Amazing what a difference it makes.

Very nice shots of the reddish egret. Have you ever seen them dance while feeding in the shallow waters at Ding...quite a site and makes for wonderful captures. Both very nice shots!

Excellent shots. The first one is my favorite due to the reflection. Beautiful. :-)

Best regards

Thanks for all of your comments. The day I was there the egrets were dancing around try to catch food. According to other people there that day it was not a good day but it seemed ok to me.

Maybe not a good day for rubbish photographers? ;)
It was a good day for you as that egret is a cracking shot! I thought at first that the reflection was a post process fiddle but the viewpoint couldn't be done that way. Excellent.
