WOW! Awesome!

3 questions (since these are the type of shots I hope to catch):

  1. What lens did you use?
  2. How close were you to the GBH?
  3. Do you think that is a shot a Rebel XT can catch (with enough knowledge)?

Thanks for sharing!

Randy

Thanks Randy!

1. It was the 100-400
2. ~12ft
3. Yes! In fact these WERE taken with a Rebel XT. Image quality is no issue at all with this camera.

ngannet ....

.... do you REALLY need to bring the political B.S. to THIS board?

Your avatar is offensive to me ....

FYI: I am only on over 30 political forums - also I do have MY OWN privately owned political web site & forum!

Can you keep it nice & friendly?

If you need help making an avatar send me one of your photo's and I'll make one from it .....

It's always about the light and I will say you got light right. Almost forgot the pose, setting, contrast, color, backdrop and whatever else it takes for a super shot. You got those right also. Woo-hoo Dan!

Daniel, this is where bird portraiture art takes over !
Very cleverly and thoughtfully executed shots. Blue and white theme.
I trust that you are mentoring junior PIPers on your methods....the lads need to go now a bit beyond "razor sharp".:D Especially Gary and Wayne. ;)
