This was taken around 84-86 I suppose. It was when she was on the cover of Spin magazine. This is the lady who sat in front of the Lorraine Motel where Dr. Martin Luther King was shot. She had been protesting them turning the memorial into a Civil Rights Museum. She had been out there 400+ days when I took this photo. I don't remember who the guy is on the left. Someone said Robert Cray but I don't believe it is, but I do remember him being a musician.

. The title says Jacqueline Smith, a lady that we'd expect to be the subject of both picture and story. First 2 sentences set the era and where the image was displayed. Third sentence starts "This is the lady who ....". and confirms the title and who Jacqueline Smith is. Oh well, it's all good
