I finally hit the submit order button :D
Getting it from 17th street photo....not the best price but they got good reviews on reseller ratings. ($766.71...was over $16 just for shipping...blah!)
Can't wait to get it and start taking pics!

Way to go! I followed your thread debating lens choices. Although I didn't go the same route as you, I am sure you made the right decision. In the 2 days I have owned the xt, I have learned that I have a lot to learn. And the lens is one of many parts of that equation. There will be plenty of time to fiddle with lenses.

As long as the bill says 7/15/06, she should be fine for the rebate.

Stefan

It's always great to hear of another XT user coming on board. With a lot of the talk on getting a 20D/30D a bit of an inferior complex creeps in! :-)

I'm sure you will enjoy it as I continue to enjoy mine!

Cheers,
LeBaron

the 350D is a great camera - just because it doesn't have a rear dial or a whole load of crappy settings doesn't make it bad...

Get the grip - its worth it!
