Thanks so much to all for letting me come along on this one. You know I wanted in from the get go, but with the home purchase simply did not think it would be possible.

I haven't grabbed the tickets yet,. can someone profer flight numbers for the DC to Africa flight so I can do all I can to get on the same plane in DC?

As soon as I have that number I will make the call..

Patrick,. I'm going to see if I can get to DC from Providence Directly, the airport is literally 5 minutes from my front door,..
If that does not pan out I may look into the hartford alternative and meeting up with you..

So... here I sit. I was supposed to be on vacation all this week and next, but now I'm using the days as needed for wound protection.

But he seems to be recovering right on schedule and the second surgery (the *@#! trip cancelling surgery ) is temporarily scheduled for the 23rd.

Wow! Sorry to hear about Beth not getting to go. Happy for CDS though. I was really hoping to see you guys somewhere along the way But. I'll be arriving 2 weeks after you head home. We've pretty much settled on a walking/camping Safari through the North and South Luangwa River Valley area in Zambia. It's said to be some of Africas least visited and most abundant wildlife areas. You actually walk through the wildlife with a guide and a ranger who is armed just in case of an attack. Sounds fun!! It should give my shoes, backpack and Rocket blower a real workout.
