Now we really do need Pat to get his ticket. He's the only one with medical training :p

i'm going to africa... i'm going to africa... i'm going to africa.... my goodness it's actually happening!! hmm...

oh, y'all I had an idea.. considering that I work with some of the best chefs in the state I asked a couple of them to try to teach me to cook while were all bored this winter.... so, I might just have a useful skill by the time we go...

I had a bit of a scare today at work. I was asked to scope out our next project, and as I added in the enhancements and the number of days it would take to complete them the end date kept getting later ... and later... The final end date came out to August 28, 2007. I called our project manager and said, we have to figure out a way to bring that date in... and Development CANNOT be late, because I am leaving the CONTINENT on August 26! He said, not to worry, we would plan for that.... WHEW!

That would be cool! Beth and I are already scouring cook books for recipes that we might be able to use in Africa.

And on that subject.... Dave, will we have a dutch oven in our camping gear? Or do you even know! :)

I doubt it, but we'll check the cooking gear when we pick the 4x4's up and we can always buy one if not and we think we'll make use of it. When we are in Etosha we will have cooking facilities and BBQ facilities, but we'll really make use of other stuff when camping.

Well things looking less than ideal at Etosha. Is mainly full up already as I always feared. We have 31st were there is zero availability at all but I can get stuff either side. Might have to go outside the park for that night of 31st and then go back in again and drive through to Namutoni. Not terrible, but not ideal. I'll keep y'all posted.

One night outside the park will not spoil the deal for me! This is where we go with the flow and I'm feeling very flowy.

I like just about anything. I'm not crazy about mushrooms, but I'm not allergic to them and if others like them, I can just pick them out of whatever we have. So... I'm easy! :D

I don't like cheese less it's in pizza or melted, but tomato? I don't eat tomatos themselves, but I love tomato sauce. Ahh! How do you live?
