New use for a tripod

Hi all,

I went out to a local nature reserve today with a tripod and the 100mm 2.8 macro. I don't normally carry a tripod arround and I really wasnt having much luck finding anything to take pics of. Then I looked down to find this little guy sitting on one of the legs of the tripod!

Did my best with available light but the DoF is far to narrow :(

shallow dof but a great picture imo

insects seem attracted to tripods, i was making a film with some friends and i looked down to see lotsa insects crawling on the legs
