Hi I'm thinking about purchasing this filter B+W 67mm kaesemann MRC SLIM Circular Polarizer Filter and was wondering if this is a very good filter? Thank you.

You may not need the slim version. Are you using a 70-200f4? You certainly don't need it for that lens, just for a very wide angle on a full frame camera.

I can highly recommend them. They are not cheap, but you won't be disappointed with the quality.

I'd say the premium filter brands are B+W and Heliopan, with Hoya's high end products fairly close as well. All my screw-in filters are B+W MRC; you should go for multicoating whenever possible.

I have a B+W 77mm slim Kasemann circular polariser MRC, though Graham's comment is correct. You only need slim on wide angle lenses, and usually only if you are using a full frame body. My polariser is slim because I don't tend to leave it on the lens, and one of my lenses is an EF 16-35mm f/2.8L. Though I don't own a full frame body at the moment, it is a possibility for the future, and I was happy with my polariser not having front threads.

Chances are you don't need the slim version & IMHO unless you'reshooting in a rainforest frequently, Kassemann is overkill. However, B+W is the right choice for manufacturer. :)
