It's been a good day for me.

I took a page out of dazzlebea's book and photographed a katydid:

#1 is wonderful :D You barely managed to squeeze all of that katydid into the frame.

Nice shots. I wish I knew what that silverfish like critter is as I have been taking shots of them and their tiny babies lately.

I took a pic of one a little while ago and was told it was a lacewing larva. I think I googled it and that seemed right.

Thanx Bea. That ugly critter turns into one of those beautiful lacewings? Wow. Nature never fails to amaze. I just did some research and you appear to be correct. That was just the tip I needed to solve the mystery.

BTW, nurture your lacewing larvae. They are great at controlling aphids.
