Poor fly got stuck with its own shell :(

This poor fly's right wing got stuck in its own shell since its emergence. It just couldn't fly at all, so it walked and "jumped" (flying with just 1 wing) all the times. I took out the shell for it, but appearantly it's wing is also deformed :( Poor guys!

I'm sure that's a first shot of this kind! Love the detail! My wife didn't like it so much, she was eating lol

Well spotted- never seen that before- unique shot. I suspect if the wing does not dry out in the correct position after emergence then it's had it.

2 and 3 look good, it would make good food for a jumping spider ;) as Brian mentioned, it's too late for the wing.

Thanks! I just feel bad for this guy :( I released it after I took care of the shell for it, but don't know how long it would survive, but I guess that's nature ;)
