I want to buy a basic tripod for my upcoming leh and laddhak trip
can you people suggest one ?

Are you intending to trek with it, carry it whilst flying, or take it with you by car when you go places? What sort of shots are you intending to use the tripod for?

i will be using 70-300 , will be travelling by road and yes i will need this to carry with me while trekking "Right actions for the future are the best apologies for wrong ones in the past"
