My son just finished first grade and got this cool math trophy, but he refused to take a picture with it. Luckily, his younger sister is a willing model:)

Great shot.

I have a few questions.

How did you light this? Used a tripod?

I'd guess a softbox to the subjects upper-right side and some form of lighting low on the left... not sure though.

Really nice shot. Exposed beautifully, color is superb, and I love the simplicity of the backdrop. Super job... nice trophy :D

Peace,
Bill

Thanks. bhp almost nailed the lighting setup, plus a hairlight. No tripod was used.

Very nice. Was this with your home made soft box?

Ray, yes, those SBs are home made ones I mainly use to shoot my kids' pictures.

Thx, dkenney.

Beautiful shot - lighting, colors, sharpness!
I like the expression on her face too!
