Practising on all sorts of things, it was in a dark corner and everytime the pre-flash fired it kept turning it's back to me!

Went for the head area hoping to get the eyes in.

Living proof that practice alone doesn't make perfect; sometimes you just need raw talent!

Cheers :)

I would have liked more of the body in focus too, it's difficult! It was around 0.5cm.

Fantastic shot! The limited DOF is the nature of Macro I guess as I'm rapidly finding out. :)

Lovely shot, very well done you have the focus right on which is difficult with these little chaps.

Does seem slightly under exposed, possibly because of the white background.

Hey Lester, I notice your avatar :)

Unfortunately before I took that shot I was playing around with the Picture Style settings and sharpness.

I'm not 100% happy with the image, slight underexposure with max in-camera sharpness played havoc with PP, but it's not too bad :)

I only have the on-board flash so could have done with some FEC, but I noticed this guy lurking in the shadowy corner and didn't change the settings.

I'll be prepared next time!
