How do I cut an object or person from the photo and transfer to different background? I don't where to look for it on photoshop.

That will give you all the different methods that your version of Photoshop uses to select an object. .

accentodesign Member 38 posts Likes: 1 Joined Jul 2006 More info | My favorite tool to make a selection is the pen tool. It seems hard at the beginning, but is a wonderful tool. Select the pen and start clicking around the subject you want to isolate. If you want straight lines, just click. If you want curves, click and drag and you'll see the curve and you'll also see how every anchor point has two direction lines. Selecting the ends of this lines you can modify the curves. Even when you have the Pen Tool selected, you can modify the curves as you draw them by pressing Control (Apple Key in Mac) and you'll see your icon changes to a white arrow that lets you grab the ends of the direction lines or the anchor points and modify them. There is no spoon...

Select the Freeform Pen, and select the Magnetic option. If you want further options, there's a drop-down at the right of the 'shapes' in the option bar.
