A couple more from last weekend. This was my first outing, shooting macro, can't wait to venture out again on friday afternoon after work.:D

Have to agree with Biko - #1 is fantastic. Cropping of the legs and the top of the wings on #2 spoils that one

Good first attempt with nice head detail but I would have liked to see just a little more of the wings in focus. Taking head on shots of damselflies is always going to be very difficult though, so it depends on what you were aiming for.
The top pic is a bluetailed damselfly. The lower one is what's called a beautiful demoiselle. These can be very easy to disturb so well done to capture it.
