This picture was taken after Stage 4 of the 2006 Tour de Georgia. I thought of it after watching him win today's stage at the Tour de France.

wonderful shot.

I was lucky enough to see him coming over the last mountain to Morzine, where he shattered the field by eight minutes. Here“s Floyd 200 meters after the top, gunning down to Morzine for the win.

My tribute to Floyd 'The Mantis' Landis:

This is Floyd rounding a corner in Santa Barbara, CA in the 2006 Amgen Tour of California:

Those are some great shots. I was there in 2004 for stages 12-14 and had a great time.

Best way to win the tour if you're an American? Be female. VERY female. That way, your test levels MAY pass the Euro microscope.

I've missed the last two TDFs while deployed to the Middle East. It's nice to see some good racing photos. Nice job with the photos. I hope to get the chance to photograph some racing next summer.
