Thanks Bama - yep I shooting pics that I have wanted to take for 20+ years. Sure helps having the kit, particularly the digital - no film budget worry.

Hi Lester,

I really like these, I have been trying to get some hovers myself but can't get them this good yet. Mine always seem to look a bit flat. Good work!

Well flash helps. If you are using the internal flash that may be a bit flat and investing in off camera flash is worth while.

If you want to work with available light you can get very good results if they are in a bit of sunlight, like this:
