Eggs are being deposited into the grass stalk by this small skipper.
Snapped today with Canon S3 + 500D

Nice. Unfortunately hard to see the laying from that angle.
Difficult to get any further though I expect.

You won't actually see the egg because the egg is being inserted inside the grass stalk, which is why the tip of the butterfly's abdomen is touching the stalk. But point taken - this shot is probably of more interest in a butterfly website. Thanks for the comments.
