If you get a chance to try it with a borrowed EF 2X I would be interested to here how well it does. My understanding is it works well. [Used the 2X with the 100mm and was quite pleased with the result.] Gear List

That's truly amazing detail. I haven't pulled my 100mm macro out in a long time. If I thought I could come anywhere near that quality, I'd be out all day with it.
