Not sure what is it...
My flash bracket still not set up for this lens, so as you can see there's not enough light ....

Looks sharp to me :) The 180L is a great lens. I had it for a short while, but it was too long for my style. Enjoy it ;)

Interesting looking fly. You picked a hard subject, given the near all black colour. Looks a fraction under exposed but very sharp. Looks a very promising lens, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Did you sell the mpe-65?

OK, it IS sharp then. If you get a chance to try it with a borrowed EF 2X I would be interested to here how well it does. My understanding is it works well. [Used the 2X with the 100mm and was quite pleased with the result.]

That's truly amazing detail. I haven't pulled my 100mm macro out in a long time. If I thought I could come anywhere near that quality, I'd be out all day with it.

Agreed. The choice of the test for the 180 was tough but looks like both the lens and owner came out great.:)
