I like the second one. Whatever is in the foreground on 1 and 2 distracts me.

Thanks for the kind words. The stuff in the foreground is my neighbors house and our lake. It bothered me as well, that's why I changed my composition on the second one.

If you could tease some shadow detail out, I think it would work, the white house would then provide a firm anchor for the glorious sky.

Nice atmospheric sky. You can either clone out the distractions or as Lesmac says, bring out some of the shadow detail to anchor the pic.
