Can someone do a stack focus of the first two pics ?

And does someone know what are the 3 little balls over the head ?

Interesting... the three knobs look like the eyes of a spider... I wonder if it's a natural defense, making some insects think it's something else? *shrug* False pieces are a common defense in nature.

They're called ocellus. They're simple eyes that can detect light, but not any degree of it's direction.

I tried a focus stack, but the change in angle was too great and it looked really weird. Maybe Brian will have better luck (he's a lot better at it than I am).
