Hi there,

have not been able to shoot due to re-injuring my back and having teeth pulled, so I have been chompong at the bit pardon the pun.

Here are 3 shots of Correa flowers, they are Australian native fuscia's.

Comments and critacism welcomed good and bad. These flowers are about 2cm long, I love this lens and the kenko rings.

Regards Darren

1. Exif: 1/6 sec, F/9, 100 macro lens with kenko rings, ISO-100, MT24-EX flash set at 2:1 -1/3 compensation used as fill.

2 & 3 apart from being very sharp are interesting shapes and the black BG (flash I presume) works well. #1 is a bit out of focus.

Do agree with the rest that #2 and #3 stand out. The exposure/details are beautiful.
Looks like you had a background made for them. Was this taken in a studio?

#1 beauty seems to be somewhat lost due to the background.

BTW, have you placed the tooth under the pillow? who knows you might be the first to catch a tooth fairy in action;) :D .
