Some spiders have two eyes larger than the rest which might fool you but even flies have some 'simple' eyes on top of their head in addition to their two compound eyes. Toby

Most spiders have 8, some have six, some have four. Some spiders, like Jumping Spiders or Wolf spiders have 8, and can see 360º continously. Amazing eh? Jumping Spiders apparently have eyesight that is every bit as good as human eyesight - in terms of resolving detail. Amazing. Simply amazing what nature can and does do.
