Hello, does anyone know if there is a firmware update that would allow me to remove the 30 sec limit on recording movies - I have a IBM Microdrive and the real issue - the memory size - is not an issue anymore.

Have anyone tried to change the internal RAM chip? Many devices can handle bigger amounts of RAM just fine (vice design), but I have no idea how Canon have done this. Have anyone even opened the device? My have still warranty left, so I'm not going to do that for a while.
