havent noticed this type before but here they are on my alpines, do you know their name or is it just a stage in the life cycle of normal greenies?

Excellent shot RM- they look suspiciously like the parasitised aphids I shot recently :)

makes sense as there were a couple of your wasps in attendance. The ants dont seem to care!
