The Eco Museum has a couple of new residents. Two young coyotes. They are just getting used to their new home and are a little shy. However the female decided to get a little bold and came over to see what the funny looking guy in the camo vest was up to.

I'm always amazed at how robust your Canadian coyotes look compared to our scrawny little guys our in the desert. Probably yours are carrying a lot more fur. Or maybe it's the poutine.

The pic looks pixelated in the background -overcompressed perhaps.
And the crop imho doesn't work too well.

(+ I don't know how hard it is to get a close up of one of these things).

What do Australians know about coyotes?

Pixelation, on the other hand, certainly falls within their area of expertise? (J/k, Carzee---really:lol::lol::lol:)

great capture Ian, i havent been able to get that close, yet, I think the crop works well for this one, i tried to smooth out the pixelation with neat image but after a few passes it was still there. So i applied midnight sepia filter and faded it just a bit. hope you dont mind.
belmondo, i believe the reason our coyotes look so "robust" is they have been cross breeding with dogs and wolves up here, seriously, i used to work part-time with fish and wildlife and apparently genetic studies have proven this. Plus our beer makes them tougher...lol
