New Macro Lens. Canon 180mmL

Well guys I have just opened the box of my new Canon 180mm f/3.5L Macro..

Looking to get a few bugs or anything that would sit still long enough this is the best of around 20 shots I have just taken 10 minutes ago...:)

All comments welcome...:p Erm.. Be nice this is my first attempt at Macro

Thanks Lester, I had a play in photoshop with the same image but didnt like it, Looked at the original and posted that.

What do you guys think.:confused:

You seem to have lost the glare off the second one - what did you do?

Well there are many ways in photoshop to reduce glare as we all know Lester but do all you macro experts use any post processing much.:confused:

Great first shot, think the first one you posted is best the PS'd one looks odd esp the eyes.

I agree with LordV; the first shot is great but the tweaked pic loses a lot of the punch.

Nice shot, I prefer #1 as well. The 2nd shot looks flat to my eyes. Some insects are shiny, best to leave them as that ;)
