Water drops - it's a combination of DOF, focus point and most importantly LIGHT. Master the light love - it's all a lot easier after you do. ;)

Lol, you are going to be in the grocery store and that will pop into your head. So next time you see produce don't think A few of my favorite things...:) :) Good luck now.

I know that darn light is what it is all about.

Produce? Now you REALLY have my head spinning...

The reality is that I will likely now not be able to shoot macros of money without thinking of that other thing!

So, I believe you're up. ;)

For lack of anything new or creative tonight this is one of my first. This could become the international money page.

Nice coins. So one can attach two lenses via an adapter? How does that effect focusing, aperture, shutter:confused: I don't get it.

Well done! This one is quite nice Short. Compositionally I'd probably clone out the lettering at the top edge as its rather distracting. A bit soft on the lower left corner, but with coins, you never know if its technical or wear ... Can you tell me your settings, lighting, PP for this one?

Thank you thats very kind. Good comments and it is indeed soft in that corner. Manual mode ISO f/8 for 1.6SEC custom wb. I have several aluminum clamp on light with standard natural daylight bulbs. I point and bounce them grotesquely until they look not terrible. I got a few books to work on my technical end of things. Lighting is still hit and miss guesswork for now.
