Hi Paul,

Up to your normal very high standards. I bet you asked Tommy to look at you as he went by?!! All the others are well exposed and good comp. Are these with the 1D MKII? Are you happy with the colours now? These look fine to me. I was gutted not to be up there the weekend but I'm packing to move.

Speak soon

Well done

Regards

Rob

No, all taken with the Canon 30D. I am thinking of selling my EOS 1D Mk II on E-Bay as I only take it along as back-up and the 1.3x to 1.6x really is a difference. I also sold my Canon 400 5.6 and replaced with the Bigma 50-500 BUT it has to be the worst buy of my life. It would be good if it focussed automatically once in a while but the "keepers" are few and far between so have reverted totally to the Canon 100-400mm.

Hi Jayne2
The shots were taken on the uphill section between the Brittens(?) chicane and Hill Top

We watched the second race from just past the marshal’s post at hill top just as they start to drop down the hill, were you around the area of the TV tower?
