My Hard Drive died (I had backed up everything), but I obviously did not transfer Photoshop CS2 activation. Is there a way to transfer the activation another way to my new installation?

Did you try calling them? I've had the same issue with another program, and they simply gave me a new activation.

I had the same thing happen to me a year or two ago, and the Adobe tech support deactivated the dead installation, and allowed me another.
