Hi SOX 404;
Nice first post to this forum; Good shot...
Maybe a tighter crop to give the gull more focus?
Gotta dig those bright red feet!
Cheers;
Lee

Hi SOX 404, and welcome!

Nice capture with good colouring. As Lee says above a tighter crop could help.

Do you know what species of gull it is? Where are you?

Hi SOX 404;
That's a MASSIVE improvement... Shows just what a good original capture that was...
Are you in the UK and/or where was the shot taken?
Always helps on the ID... I suspect it's a Herring Gull...
Cheers;
Lee

Hey Lee,
I'm located in bay area, North California. The picture was taken at Ano Nuevoe state reserve. I'm not sure what kind of seagull it is, but we see them always on the west coast beaches.
Cheers...

:D . I post this smilie because this quote reminds me of one of the first lessons I learned when I began birding..."there is no such thing as a <seagull>...they are all gulls (no sea) with a specific name":D

Anyhow, great in-flight shot, with the crop showing nice detail!
