I posted a Snowy Owl a few weeks back and as a matter of fact this is the same bird. I went back to the same area to try and get a better shot and I think this one is a little better. C&C please. Thanks for looking.

An outstanding shot, I like the way the pure white of the bird isn't overexposed. Spot on.

I think it's a beuty Frank , when we see them down here there's a ton of snow ,,, to see them in a summer enviroment would be somthing special ,,, awesome shot

Superb shot Frank, the details are outstanding. The striking yellow eyes are vivid and beautiful. Nice one, well done.

Thanks all for your great comments, and Im glad you liked the shot.

The owl was first standing on a tree stump (perfect shot) and then into the grass, so I waited for 3/4 of an hour for him/her to jump back up onto the stump...didn't happen so I took the shot with the owl in the grass.

I agree with the rest on the exposure...and seeing it not in snow is different :) Too bad the branch is in the foreground, otherwise a nice capture.
