Hi,

I'm in the California central valley and we've had temperatures in the 100's the last 10 days. Records of 110-112 :( As I travel to and from work and on my days off I look for things that might make interesting pictures or places to practice camera work. But, it's just too hot.

I even thought about shooting people who have to work outdoors and record their heated composures. Some of the local news media have been shooting video of that too. I think I'll pass.

Then our central air conditioning went out at 1:00am. Our upstairs bedroom is 94 degrees right now. After making about 40 calls, a repair man is coming late tonight. I think I'll hug him (or her).

Keep cool!

Know what you mean. However I still never travel without my camera. Came through Amboy yesterday and it was 118° around 6:00pm and 106° 7 hours later at 1:30am. Took some photos. Here at the house in 29 it's been 110°-112° as well. The humidity makes it really feel hotter. Stay COOL !

I understand where you're coming from. Only, instead of the Central California heat, for me it's the humidity. Even in 90 degree temperatures, the humidity makes it unbearable. I'll go out and get about 4 or 5 blocks before cursing, turning around and going back to the air conditioning. It needs to be September 20 year round.

Stay cool.
