THAT ones brilliant - gonna use it myself LOL

here's another "no... i didnt bring my camera" *accompanied by giving the person a confused look*

glad you like it, I'd use it too if I ever got comments while shooting. the only comment I've gotten recently was today, I wanted to shoot some guys while they were taking down a tree, one guy said it was fine but the guy up in the cherry picker said it wasn't so I figured he's higher, figuratively and literally. so it actually wasn't a comment

I think the next time someone asks me "Is that a camera?" acting surprised by the size, I'm gonna say these:

1. "Camera? What cam... (confused look) Oh.. yes... that thing (looking at the camera, acting surprised)"
2. "No, it's my cell phone"
3. "Damn, you can see me?! I guess my cloaking device is not working properly (fiddles with camera controls making random startrek noises)."
4. "I prefer to call it 'The Hubble'"
5. "It's my 'Precious' (In a creepy voice as I stroke the lens slowly)"

btw, the last fashion show I covered, during the rehearsal & setup (had strobes setup and metered them constantly) I paraded down the runway like the models - wearing the 30D + 70-200 f/2.8 IS like a purse, then posing seductively with the camera at the end. Was probably the funniest thing I've done this past month. Haha, all the models were cheering me on.

When shooting my mom's school play last friday, I was asked at least 10 times "Wow, are you from the newspaper?"
To boot, I only had the 17-50 on

I just shot my kid's Christmas Concert at school today and judging from the stands where the kids were going to stand on, I figured my 24-105/4IS would take care of that... then someone mentioned that another group of kids were going to be on the stage about 10 meters father back, and I said "that's good to know" and pulled out my 70-200/2.8IS and the person yelped "Whoa! That's huge!". That was the only comment I got there... it's actually weird when you pull out a white lens and many people doesn't even notice it!
