being the owner of a sigma 70-200, and walking around race tracks, some people i walk by do have the lens envy! aahahah!!

And I guess that if you had a big lens, they would really have something to envy

Not to get off subject, but I think 1 million views officially qualifies as epic...

I was at at the Derby this year and a woman sitting near by said she had penis envy.

Several other people commented on my camera, but there were a lot of people that had serious camera equipment there in the stands.

When I bounce flash, I'm often told, "Hey, your flash is pointing up."

To which the proper response is "Yes and we both know why don't we"

So I was setting up my SXI and 70-200 in Marin for a panorama of San francisco. an old man with a fairly nice camera himself, and asks me if it was the 300L. I told him that It was the 70-200 and he said that they were to heavy for his liking, then asked me about the IS on it. I told him I didn't have the IS version and he said "you bought the wrong lens boy." Without even thinking i replied back "Perhaps, but I'm young and strong, and have plenty of time to haul around a tripod and a heavy lens."

I felt a bit bad 5 minutes later when I realized exactly what I said.
