Kelcey wrote in post #8265718 Just got a comment today while shooting my friend singing, the rest of the band couldn't make it, at a local coffee shop. The owner came up to me and asked, "Are you the band's professional photographer?" I just replied, "Ya you could say that..." And I got plenty of stares from others at the coffee shop too. I have some mates in a band, after first entering through the wrong entrance (and getting trough thanks to having two full size bodies with 70-200/24-70 on my shoulders and TT belt loaded with other crap) getting back out and finding the main entrance, I got asked by the security if I was media, told them I wasn't... As I was walking in they shouted at me to come back, so I went back and he said "I was just wondering if you could get some shots of me, you know, on the job, for myspace..." Mark

My friends ask me to take their Myspace pictures a lot. They usually start off by saying "Make me PRETTY!" It can be scary at times when I say no... Does it get scary when you tell them you will not take their picture OR when you tell them that you cannot "make them pretty", Mike R

To get back on topic. I had my DSLR with me yesterday and this couple holding an SD1100IS came up to me and asked me why my camera was so big. I told them that I couldn't afford the smaller digital camera's that are so popular now ![]() excellent response! ~Z
