The 5d has :)

Yes the 1DII has no green box  Damn I wanted to get one so I can shoot on green box mode. :D

Well, it should! Everyone should have the opportunity to spend thousands of dollars on a point-and-shoot.

Of course, you could always Brownie it....

I was shooting soccer the other day w/ the 300 2.8. This guy walks up and asks "What 'x' zoom is that?" He gave me the nastiest look when I said, "1x," and walked forward and backward a couple times. I think I heard, "Smarta$s," as he walked away. I got a chuckle.

I was making a joke, kind of like this whole thread. The OP happens to be a good friend of mine. He's all of 22 years of age and in college in California studying photography. But I guess it went over everyone's head.

In spite if the fact it's only been around for a couple of years, it has been viewed in excess of 1 million times. Absolutely amazing.

Not a ridiculous comment, but a comment. I was shooting a LL football game this weekend with the 300 2.8 and the coach said "man is that a camera or a satellite"? The kids were looking in surprise at the equipment and the parents were telling them to get out the way.
