That photo looks like one of those trivia questions:
"Which weighs more the lens or the model?"

The lens weighs 16.5Kg (36.4 lbs.). The tripod probably weighs more!

And you should probably avoid buying lenses that cost as much as a luxury car.

Car, hell!, That sucker costs more than my house!

Was photographing my nephew and his parents in a Mall and had one person ask why I was carrying a bazooka around the mall. I had my 70-200 on my 5D MK II. Did end up talking photography with another young lady who was in a photography class.

Yes, but there are advantages.

1. You don't have to pay for heat or cooling for a lens.

2. There are no yearly property taxes on a lens.

3. The lens doesn't care what school district it's in.

4. If the neighborhood goes downhill, the lens can be moved easier than a house.

5. The house cannot take pictures.

See, this is quite rational!

Plus, you can sell the lens to buy a house, probably not the other way around...right now. :(

Depends. If you're in the market for a kit lens I'm sure we could work something out.

I'll bet they'll let you in with a Canon 1200mm quicker than with a house! I expect the lens would be heavy, but a HOUSE? C'mon, man! You would need at least a REAL BIG two-wheeler to bring in a house!

Your delivery address was "The blue car, 10 yards down from the mail box just opposite the mall" I take it?

Sorry couldn't find it, so we have had to keep the lens ourself until it is claimed!
