Should this be MADE A STICKY?

Compliation of links about sensor cleaning:
(I'll be happy to add any more if you guys ( n' Gals) let me know..)

It has also been pointed out you can always send it back to canon if you are not of a dextrous bent! ;-)a

The are also many short ' how to' films on maunfacturers sites, as well as in depth technical info and advice, so be sure to explore those sites well

Nice list. But need one more --> send it to Canon for free cleaning. It's the most skilled and professional job of all.

I haven't tried this - what's the cost and the process?
Just phone them up?

I think it needs to be a sticky, every week someones asks about "Sensor Dust",same problem same answers.
Theres a demo film on how to use the sensor swabs on this page http://www.photosol.com/swabproduct.htm (external link) look for the button to start the film half way down on the right hand side of the page, just above the diagram on how to do it.

It's linked in the stickies. If we made everything that maybe should be a sticky, independently sticky, the active posts would begin somewhere around page 5.
