I have gone through these many times!! Great resources... I did this with one 580 and one 420. The 580 to the diagnal right and the 420 to the left. Flat lighting is what you'll get, if that's what you want. I happen to think Rembrandt lighting is much more attractive to look at, and it's more natural also. Rarely do we see people in real life with totally flat lighting. There's always some kind of ratio.

Waldemar Mostly Lurking 14 posts Joined Jan 2004 Location: Edison, NJ, US More info | Use one light at 45 degree to the left or right side of the object. On opposite side to the light use only reflector. It can be white sheet of paper or aluminum foil pan lid. It should give you right light ratio.
