Nice capture, weevils have really weird shapes, but look rather cool and alien like. Did a good job of capturing this and not introducing lots of highlights to the body.

Thank you for your nice comments. The picture is taken in natural light on a partly cloudy day. It is manually (PaintShop) stacked from two pictures to obtain a good enough dof.

Nice shot. These guys remind me of an old UK TV show called the clangers. Not sure why.
