I have started shooting people again, don't panic I don't use a gun, just my trusty polariod camera.
These shots are part of a series for a project I have with some new street fashion labels. Obvioulsy not for the Vogue style labels.
All shots in my favourite derelict buildings, no flash, natural light only.
The dark look is intentional for some of these images.
Just b/w conversions, with no 'grungy' effect added.

I like the last two A LOT!
I think they also seem to "advertise" the clothing not jus tthe model. TX for sharing!

I agree, the last two are the best photos and the emphasis is more obviously on the clothing.

Thanks guys,
these are my first model shots, and I now see how I can improve them.
Dark hair, dark clothes and dark location are a bit tricky to capture well.
I will try to use a reflector next time (if anybody can loan me one...).
Cheers

These are great Marty, I like all but the second one and the last two really stand out....no problem on the loan of a relector mate.

I like them all, but... I don't think she should be smiling in these to match the mood.

While I guess B&W is meant to be 'moody', I really like her smile regardless! Great shots!

Could I be cheeky and ask what lens you used and the EXIF, please? I really want to get into portraiture myself :)

Good feel with these! Just a little nitpick, #3- i find the piece of fabric that the model is sitting on distracting. It also jars a little with the intended theme. Having said that ,it is my fav shot. Well done!
