Winter Baseball

In honour of my 100th post I thought that I might put up some shots of my Winter Baseball team. Baseball is primarily played in Australia during summer however there is also a more social winter competition. The weather is ususally OK however we have had one rainout this year and more than a few very cold days. At least it doesn't snow.......

Baseball's a summer sport in the USA too which makes it a year-long sport here in Florida. I'm sure glad the game is played in Australia -- several guys from down under play at professional levels here. You have some good stuff -- nice colors but perhaps a bit underexposed. Most are framed well too but #2 might look better with the catcher cropped out and #6 would look better if not cropped at his knee -- it's usually better not to crop at joints like knees and elbows.

Jerry, thanks for the good constructive comments. I wasn't sure about the under exposure comment however after looking through the images again I agree that 2 & 3 are a bit low. I tend to expose to the right and then adjust during RAW conversion so I guess I went a bit to far to the left on these two...

I've kind of lost track of who is playing in the US now. I'm pretty sure that there are over 100 guys in the minors but I don't think anyone is currently on the roster for the majors since Gaeme Lloyd and Dave Nilson finished up.... I'm waiting for my call up now. Should be knocking on the door any second........
