Ok....
I am needing a new backpack. I really like the new Tamrac Expedition 7.
My Question is....how well does it travel as a carry on in Flight? Has anyone
flone with on of these. In the US, and Out of the US?

Thanks

bannedPermanent ban

I've used it many times, its great. sometimes its a tight fit height wise, but I've always managed to fit it in the over head bins.

Be prepared to be stopped though, the bag is apparently very dense (a good thing for protection) but when teamed with dense photographic gear, they often can not see throgh it . Most of the time they let me through unstopped, but when they do stop, it can take a while

I've tried many styles and this one is the best. I carried it all over France, Germany, and Netherlands recently and it was great. Not too big but not too small either. Very comfortable to carry and went through airports very well with no trouble. Only in Brussels did I have to remove cameras and turn them on briefly. Good choice.
