I just bought a 17-55mm 2.8 IS from Jessops - they price matched the cheapest online price I could find (£698 ). I really didn't think they'd match it as their instore price was £869 - but lo and behold...

I've been turned down in one store (where a week or two earlier they matched my dSLR), travelled a few miles and had another item matched without question.

What swung it for me was the fact that I could walk out with the lenses there and then, no waiting in for a courier, no problems with return, they have a 30 day no quibble return. Canon 6D
