ok this must be simple!. how do i link a pic or url to a word or phrase without the whole address showing?
i.e if i wanted to have My Pics direct me to a web page ,so people can just click on 'My Pics' without the full address showing.
Also how do u link to another thread from your reply?

ok i did it with 'my gear' but i forgot(old age creeping up again.

Type the text you want to use to link to the url. Then highlight that text and click on the insert link icon (looks like a world with a paper clip). Type in the url in the space provided when the box comes up and click OK.

Or you could manually type your text here without the space between the open bracket[and the slash /.
