Ok i know this is probably in the wrong section but i am sure an administrator will move it accordingly.
Ok after much thinking over and over i decided to go for the eos 70-200 2.8LIS, alot of you gave me advice over this purchase and i thank you again.
The retailer i wanted to go through uses paypal, fair enough have used it before and i trust it, but now they are saying that the item is too much and that they need to fund the difference from the remains of my existing £1000 and fund the rest from my bank account. I have just signed up for a interest free credit card so i wanted to use that, not my bank account.
I just wanted to know if anyone else has had problems with paypal, i take it we all use it for ebay and ebay shop traders?
The thing is if i want to buy more lenses from this trader (we never stop buying them do we) and chances are that they will get more expensive, then i will have to pay for this in full from my bank account. BTW if your not british you might not understand this as we are all rate tarts in this country when it comes to using plastic!

So if anyone has a similar experience i would like to know, or is the person representing paypal who is emailing me this information talking rubbish.

I apologise for the frantic writing but i need to order this lens by 3am to have it in my hands by monday, or its a long wait till next weeks shipment.

O and sorry admin people for posting this in the lens bit as i didnt know where else to put it ( its a little bit lens related). Maybe we need a soapbox section.
Thanks people, A.

sounds like a scam man, paypal doesn't have an upper limit on purchases, and if you spend money outside of paypal, they don't protect your perchase.
