cheers Sari, I was sure it was going to take days to wipe that grin off Tony's face - but apparently his washing machine blew up today so I guess it may have only been temporary!

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Maybe you can sell her on it by saying, look the lens can act as a door stop, a paper weight, and also for my camera! Oh and it provides great back support when watching television!

one piece of advice, don't pick up a big white lens. that way you can just be in the background, with your camera pointed at others. :)

:D :D :D .. I suppose you could try some persuasion and maybe offer to buy one used instead of brand new?... think that would work?... but for now just tell her that 'everyone' would want that lens and that it would make you really, really, really popular with all your friends if you got it.. ;) ;) ..

Okay, I suck at excuses.. I usually buy first and make something up later..
