Hi there,

today I went to the footy and spent the morning walking around Melboune and I was really cursing that I didn't my camera. There were shots everywhere.

The problem is I have a Lowepro backpack that contains all my gear. So to take it and my food coat ect for the game I would look like a packhorse! I need a bag that will hold camera and 2 lenses or camera 2 lenses and a flash that I can take everywhere including the footy so I won't need to worry about leaving it in the carpark, and theft.....

Regards Darren

Next time you are in Melbourne, head over to Camera Exchange (Lonsdale Street up the hill from Michaels), or Teds upstairs.. There are some really good Lowepro bags, and both have a good selection.. Camera Exchange actually has a whole wall of them and their prices are pretty good.

I had the same dilema, backpack was a pain in the butt to carry around all the time and lense changes were a nuissance. I bought the Lowepro Stealth Reporter 300 and couldn't be happier. The bag itself is padded well but isn't big and bulky like some of the Tamrac bags out there. It also has the All Weather cover (which happened to come in handy last weekend on the ocean while shooting a documentary on local lobstermen).

In the bag I can fit:

10D body
70-200 f/2.8
24-70 f/2.8
10-20
2x teleconverter
50 f/1.8
550EX flash
Rocket blower, lense cleaning cloths, pen, etc..

I don't usually have all of that in there though because it gets heavy but when I go on a road trip I fill it up so I don't leave aything home and once I get there I take out what I don't need and lock it up in the car. Usually I'll walk around with the camera and one lense around my shoulder so there is only a couple lenses in the bag with the flash so it doesn't get too heavy.

I have the Stealth Reporter 400 and like it as well. It will take 6 lens pouches on the sides so you can add flashes, lenses, water and such as needed. The 300/200 might be better for you as it will be smaller for essential kit.

For a bag made from man made materials (which I really hate) it is good, versitile easy to get stuff in and out. Why oh why does Didgeridoonas not make a camera bag?

Hi there

I have decided to go with this http://www.lowepro.com …cts/Bel...ff_Trail_2.aspx (external link) it will be a tight squeeze but thats ok, I like the compact size and the fact its for the waist and shoulder. In the future I will get something between both bags

My Microtrekker 200 is a perfect fit for my Drebel with 3 other lenses - leaving some little space for lens cleaning pen, battery charger etc. Check if it will fit your purpose.

The other piece that I find useful is my Tamron slingpack that can hold a camera with a lens attached. On shooting trips, I carry my camera with 1 lens around my neck and carry two other lenses inside the slingpack.

Your link didn't work - I'm interested in which bag you're looking at.
